Directions to site from Dublin

Approximate journey time 2hrs 30mins.

• Leave the M50 at junction 7 then take right hand lanes to travel on the N4 (signposted Sligo/Westport/Galway)
• At junction 5 continue forward onto the M4 motorway (signposted Sligo)
• At junction 8 continue forward onto the M4 Toll Motorway (signposted Galway)
• Leave the M4 at junction 11 then join the M6 Toll Motorway (signposted Galway)
• Travel on the M6 and exit the motorway at Junction 15 for Ballinasloe West
• 1st roundabout at top of slip road turn Right and cross over the motorway
• Go Straight through the 2nd roundabout (no left or right options at this one)
• At the 3rd roundabout take the 1st exit for Aughrim on the N446 (this is the old N6)
• Continue on the N6 for approximately 22.5 km, then turn onto the N65 towards Portumna
• At the Gortymadden crossroads turn Right and continue Straight for approximately 4 km
• Tynagh Energy Power Plant will be on the Left hand side of the road
